       Hailing from the Buckeye State, born July 13^th, 1985 in Columbus, Ohio Artist/CEO Brandon “VDOT” Reeder is a classic example of the spirit of raw American entrepreneurialism.  Motivated, dedicated, ambitious, and innovative are just a few words that describe the young and talented artist with his top notch word play, energetic delivery and catchy melodies.  His passion for music began at the tender age of 5 years old playing the drums while also discovering his musical abilities. With a heavy infatuation for hip-hop, he felt as though he could bring his own style of rap/hip-hop to the game.  At the age of 17, he began creating beats and honing his lyrical skills; an obsession which would later become his profession.  Staying focused on writing and recording music was a way to keep him from trouble and the street violence growing rapid through the city.  His professional career began in 2004 with DOEBOY Records moving ontoCo-owned Block Monstaz in 2006-2007 and later to Co-owned New Year- New Money until late 2009.  His decade long journey to the top has not come without its own set of trials and tribulations.  After being totally dissatisfied with the quality of recordings and service from all these different labels, VDOT decided to branch out on his own in 2010 which began the rise of  “THE ¥EN MOVEMENT” and creation of his own independent record label ALLDIS¥EN RECORDS LIMITED. 

        With a mind frame different from the status quo and a rare voice that demands attention; his ability to make and record his own music, intertwined with game changing lyrics has made VDOT an artist to be taken serious. A real live spokesperson for his own truth creating music from a place within; where reality, perception, and talent meets all while articulating it in a way which happens to be entertaining.  His musical resume includes a broad variety of hardcore, real life stories, and even club banging tracks that display versatility and a timeless flow that has listeners steadily gravitating towards and wanting to hear more.

         “VDOT” has participated in DJ Fahrenheit’s TOP 50 “Making The Next Hit” competition, 106 N Park audition becoming TOP 3.  In 2011, he released “They Know” created by the CEO himself. The “White House” video shot and released June 2012 (1^ST ALLDIS¥€N video to hit the world wide web.  All of his struggle, as well as success, will no doubt come to light on his debut album set to come out later this year. While the streets patiently await VDOT’s highly anticipated official debut, he continues to stay in the mix.  With the Grand Opening “March 2013” of his new recording studio “THE ¥ENDO” and the recent release “Feb. 2013” of THE ¥EN FAMILY presents YEN MUSIC “FAST FORWARD” a compilation mixtape album featuring two of his newly signed artist’s Ryan “Scyfi Johnny” Williams and Collin “CeSick” Healy, solidifies the diligence and professionalism that the 27 year old lyrical technician exudes in the recording studio and on stage and is proof that his soul has inhabited this earth before.  

         VDOT’s motivation and driving force behind all the hard work he puts into his music is a dedication he attributes  to the unfortunate sudden death of his son  R.I.P “Brandon Terell Lamar Reeder-Davis” and also his father  radio personality/artist//DJ a.k.a Marco “The World Famous Marco James” Houpe both vital inspirations in VDOT’s career.  “Follow your dreams and never give up, I won’t sleep till “I see my first MILL-¥ENS.” –VDOT
